NYSMTA District 1 Chair
As the District 1 Chair, I welcome all music instructors to join us in building a vibrant music community here in New York City. District 1 is a local affiliation of the New York State Music Teachers Association (NYSMTA), part of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). We serve music teachers in Manhattan and the Bronx in New York City by providing performance opportunities for their students, and professional development and connection for instructors. We strive to provide an inclusive environment that welcomes students of all levels and abilities, and support for music teachers of all instruments and voice types.
